About the Project
Robots have prevailed in the manufacturing industry and continue to be more sophisticated, tightly integrated. However, they do suffer from one ruthless flaw, down-time. The down-time of a machine for even a single hour can be the difference between turning a profit or a loss for the day.
This means that modern robots priority has shifted from speed to reliability. Due to the use of tens and tens of PCBs dispersed within different points across the robot a single PCB is designed to interface all the possible circuitry, the R2D2V2.
The PCB integrates the following:- BLDC motor control
- DC motor control
- AC motor control
- LoRa communication interface
- SDHC interface
- 50W audio interface
- 50 GPIO pins for custom functionality
The goal of R2D2V2 is to replace all PCBs integrated in single robot to a single PCB only
